I started Aoura Heritage Couture with a deeply personal purpose. Named after my daughter, the brand is a reflection of the values I want to pass on, building something rooted in compassion, purpose and legacy.

We create handcrafted sarees, suits, jewellery and home textiles using traditional techniques and heritage fabrics. Every piece is designed to be timeless, thoughtful and rooted in India’s craftsmanship.

What makes this journey meaningful is the people behind it. I work closely with rural women artisans who carry generational skills but lack access to markets. Through Aoura, they gain financial independence, dignity and recognition.

One of my biggest challenges has been balancing purpose with scale. Instead of taking shortcuts, I focused on building trust, maintaining quality and creating systems that support both artisans and customers.

Looking ahead, I want to grow Aoura into a global heritage brand while continuing to empower women and build something my daughters can be proud of.
