I started Petal and Pastel as an extension of my lifelong passion for art and creativity. As a painter and art teacher, I have always loved exploring different forms of craft, and paper became my most personal medium of expression.

What began with paper quilling in 2009 slowly evolved into handcrafted and customised paper products like envelopes, nameplates and boxes. Each piece I create is made by hand, carrying its own imperfections, character and individuality.

One of my biggest challenges has been balancing my creative work with teaching and motherhood. Managing time between responsibilities while maintaining quality in handmade work requires constant discipline and dedication.

This journey has shaped me into a more focused and resilient creator, where every piece is made with patience and care.

Looking ahead, I want to grow Petal and Pastel while continuing to celebrate handmade craftsmanship and inspire people to value creativity, tradition and emotional connection over mass production.
