I started Amma’s Spices from a deeply personal experience. As a North Indian married into a South Indian family, I realised that many dishes lacked the authentic flavour I experienced at home.

Along with my mother-in-law, we decided to bring these time-tested recipes to more kitchens. Our spice blends are handcrafted, rooted in tradition and made with zero preservatives to deliver true aroma and taste.

One of my biggest challenges was navigating an unfamiliar industry. From licenses to packaging and nutritional guidelines, everything was new. I overcame this through research, learning from the right sources and seeking expert guidance.

This journey has been about blending tradition with persistence and learning along the way.

Looking ahead, I want to take Amma’s Spices across India and eventually introduce our flavours to global kitchens.
